Daily care
Before each shift check engine oil, hydraulic oil (sight gauge, top 2 in), coolant, fuel and the batteries, and do the walk-around and function tests in the operator's manual. Check or clean the engine air filter weekly (every 40 hours). Use the correct fuel for the selected mode and don't switch fuel while the engine is running. If the machine has been parked for more than 3 months, it needs a quarterly inspection before use.
