Daily care

Before each shift check engine oil, hydraulic oil, coolant, fuel and the batteries, and do the walk-around and function tests in the operator's manual. Always wear a harness and lanyard. It is a heavy machine (about 37,500 lb), so check ground conditions and the transport setup before moving it. If the machine has been parked for more than 3 months, it needs a quarterly inspection before use.
