Warehouses are slab, aisles, and height. Electric scissors do the people work. A conventional forklift does the pallet work. A telehandler is usually the wrong indoor machine. Measure aisle width in inches and fixture height in feet before you request “a lift.”
In This Guide
Lighting and sprinklers
19 ft for typical bays, 26–32 ft for high-bay, 40 ft only when measured. Narrow 32 in chassis for racking aisles. Extension decks reach into the bay; they do not replace a boom if you must reach over a rack.
Racking install
People on scissors, material on a warehouse forklift or pallet jack. Do not boom a telehandler indoors unless the floor and the insurance people already said yes.
Floor load and batteries
Upper mezzanines and some older slabs fail 32 and 40 ft scissors. Charge electric machines where the facility allows — we will not leave a diesel RT running in an occupied warehouse.

FAQ
Can I use a boom lift in a warehouse?
If the ceiling, floor, and emissions allow. Most lighting jobs are still scissors. Booms win when you must reach over racking.
Non-marking tires?
Electric slab scissors, yes. Do not bring RT foam-fills onto a finished floor.
What about a 22,000 lb forklift?
That is for heavy industrial loads, not lighting. Different job, same building sometimes.

Live inventory rotates. These are current machines in the related rental collections — not a promise that a specific used unit is still here.
