What Equipment Do I Need for Parking Lot Repairs?

Compaction, compact earthmoving, light towers, and aerials for parking-lot patches, lighting, and drainage — not a full paving spread.

A parking lot is a mix of patches, drainage, lighting, and the occasional new island. We do not pave. We compact utility cuts, dig drainage, hang lights, and put people on poles. If you need a mill-and-overlay, hire a paver. If you need the edges, the trenches, and the night lights, keep reading.

Pavement repairs

Breaker and mini to remove failed areas, plate or RD12-class roller to compact base and the patch. See asphalt patch. Striping is not a rental from this yard.

Lighting and cameras

Booms for poles and building faces. Measure. A 40 ft stick is not a parking-lot pole machine if the fixture is at 35 feet of working height with setback. Electric scissors only on a sound, level slab — not on a rutted lot.

Drainage

Minis for inlets and swales, trench rollers for the utility. A lot that ponds is a grade problem a new seal coat will not fix.

FAQ

Can you overlay my lot?

No. We compact and we lift people. Hire a paving contractor for mix and a paver.

RT scissor instead of a boom for lot lights?

Only if you can park under the work on a decent surface. Poles usually want outreach — a boom.

Snow and ice repairs?

Winter lots are a different mess. See Utah winter equipment. Patches in January need a mix plan, not just a plate.

Need a quote on the right class?

Call or text — we'll match height, width, and capacity to the job instead of renting you a bigger machine than you need.
